Burlington’s Inclusionary Zoning Working Group (IZWG) held a public hearing this week to present their recommendations and hear from residents and local housing advocates. The working group is accepting additional comments until 8 a.m., Monday, June 18. The working group has developed a draft update the 26-year-old Inclusionary Zoning policy, which mandates a mix of market-rate and affordable units in new housing in order to ensure the availability of safe and affordable housing and an economically integrated housing supply.
