We are celebrating Fair Housing Month with a new Art Contest!
The theme is “WHAT DOES A DIVERSE, INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY LOOK LIKE TO YOU?” and the contest is open to all Vermonters in three age divisions: child, teen, and adult. The submission deadline is midnight, April 15, 2019.
Original artwork may be in any format: painting, drawing, collage, fiber art, photography, comic art, sculpture, etc. The art must be photographed or scanned and submitted electronically using this ONLINE ENTRY FORM.*
*Original artwork accompanied by a printed submission form also will be accepted at the Fair Housing Project, CVOEO, 255 South Champlain St., Burlington, VT 05401. Click here for the full contest rules and a printable submission form.
PRIZES FOR THE FIRST- AND SECOND-PLACE WINNERS OF EACH DIVISION!
The winning art will also be featured in a statewide Fair Housing public service campaign.
The contest is sponsored by the Fair Housing Project of the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, with the support of students in the UVM Community Development & Applied Economics Public Communication Capstone class.
